← NICE, FRANCE – BEBOB GALLERIE – 2003 (Jan – Feb)

25 January to 18 February exhibit opened with performances, a public discussion and included new blind eye works. Naval Cassidy, also from New York, performed exoptically inspired live-cinema and Riveria jazz great, Bunnie Foy, sang. Work made for this exhibit included the the photo-roman “Otage a Nice, France, chez Bebop…”; a recorded dramatic reading of the French translation of the “blind eye manifesto” by Richard Papazian; debut of le livre de l’oeil aveugle, de l’amour condamné et des aspirations désespérées, vol. I (the blind eye book of doomed love and hopeless aspirations, vol. I); and Exoptic Fields video frames printed and set behind glass.
